"The Cave of Nicolas"

Our little story...

Santorini... Akrotiri beach...By the sea, lies for many years a small, traditional cave, build by Uncle Nikolas with his own hands when he was young. Made with lots of love and passion, the cave offered a kind of shelter to himself and his little boat.

His wide heart, the fresh fish he used to catch and the local wine he always had, made the little cave shelter of his company. Always by his side was his wife, Aunt Efstathia, whom her "magical" cuisine made everybody crazy.

A few words for us.

Psaraki is situated on a natural perch overlooking the south Aegean Sea, over the small fishing port of Vlychada.

This proximity to the island’s fishing port has set the character and the culinary trend of the restaurant.

The area of Vlychada in which we are situated is also known for its orchards and the production of well-known local vegetables and legumes like fava peas, the famous Santorini cherry tomatoes and white aubergines.
