Τhe idea of creating a place in Oia, which we ourselves as customers were looking to drink a coffee or a wine has been for years in our minds, we wanted something traditional, something affordable, somewhere where we could try authentic Santorini and Greek flavours. The chance was offered, the place was found and the name of it ”Melitini”.
The Melenio is a classic coffee - sweets, but the stubbornness of the good cake to make separate from the rest. Traditional sweets & European tastes are combined in the shop that is at the midpoint of the caldera of OIA.
The owners have found the golden recipe, ingredients, stunning scenery and very good service. The Melenio in the seven years of its existence it has managed to come to be known as loyal customers around the world.
