MYKONOS VIOMA ORGANIC FARM - wine tours

The historic, monastery vineyard of Maou, in Ano Mera Mykonos, was rejunevenated in 1994 by Nikos Asimomytis and planted with local Aegean varieties, following the biodynamic cultivation method.

Guests of "Mykonos Vioma Organic Farm" can experience an authentic wine & local products tasting experience, as well as join a free guided tour of the vineyard, learning more about our biodynamic cultivation method and the traditions of Mykonos, as well as playing with and handfeeding our farm animals. .

The old vineyard, the wine and the food all form part of Mykonos cultural heritage and the Asimomytis family will proud to present it to you. The wines produced by Mykonos Vioma are the white & red PARAPORTIANO, the rose VEGGERA IN ROSE and the naturally dessert wine HELIOPHILOS. Additionally, honey and seasonal vegetables are also produced at the farm.

HOW TO FIND US

If you drive to the farm, here's how to reach us (coming from the direction of Mykonos town):

While driving along the central road leading to Ano Mera (coming from Mykonos town), still on the main road, you will find on your right hand a bakery at the outskirts of Ano Mera village. Across the bakery you will see a war heroes’ monument and a 1st sign towards Fokos beach. Turn there, following the sign towards the beach of Fokos and taking the road behind the monument.

At the 2nd sign, continue left towards the direction of Fokos beach once more.

At the 3rd sign, at the intersection of Maou-Doubakia-Fokos, turn right towards MAOY and follow the road ahead. 200m after crossing the bridge, you will meet the grey metal gate of the vineyard on your left hand.
