Santorini Wine Museum Koutsoyannopoulos

After 19 years of constant effort, the Volcan Wines winery of George Koutsogiannopoulou in Vothonas Santorini, has created a unique natural soutirage Museum of Wine in Greece. 6 meters in depth below the surface, the museum has a total length over 300 meters, with corridors and rooms shaped like maze. With exhibits dating from 1660 to 1970 and referring to the decoration 17th-18th century, the history of wine and the life of a farmer Santorini representations with mobile and stationary models.

Considering the great interest of visitors of the original Wine Museum, decided to expand and improve the performance of subjects - a difficult task, the implementation of which has a specialized crew (director, stage designers, etc.). The primary objective was to create and present a «full story» (by plowing up the vines and bottling of wine), which unfolds in a realistic environment, and full information of the visitor (which is achieved by automatic personal tour at 6 languages). The visit to the Wine Museum reflects the history of Santorini wine and the life of a farmer Santorini representations similarly combined audiovisual effects, and automatic guided tour ends in tasting fine wines, leaving the visitor with rich memories, knowledge and feelings.
